Kingman Arizona is located in the north west county of Arizona, Mohave County.  This county is one of the largest counties in the nation.  The elevation of Kingman Arizona is approximately 3,333 feet making the climate in Kingman very suitable year round.  The average high temperature in Kingman Arizona is recorded at 76.4 and the average low temperature is recorded at 46.7.  With the highest average temperature being in July at 97.8 and the lowest average temperature being in January at 31.1.

History
Kingman Arizona was founded in 1882 and it sits in the Hualapai valley between the Hualapai and Cerbat mountain ranges.  During World Ware II the US Army Air Force used Kingman Arizona as an airfield site.  The site in Kingman was used as a Aerial Gunnery Training Base.  The Kingman site trained approximately 35,000 soldiers and airmen making it one of the largest.  During this important era of American history the training base in Kingman Arizona played a significant role.

Activities
Because Mohave county has 1,000 miles of shoreline it makes Kingman Arizona a great place for those who enjoy water activities such as boating, fishing, water skiing, swimming and others.  Kingman also has thousands of open acres of desert land.  Desert sports are very common in Kingman Arizona from quads, dirt bikes and dune buggy's to hiking trails and mountain biking.  Many of the residents enjoy the natural rock sculptures in the area such as the scenic hike through Secret Pass nearby Kingman.  Some of the residents also enjoy collecting rocks as some can be very valuable.

The Kingman area provides miles of freshwater shoreline and many other surrounding wilderness attractions.  Most Kingman locals and visitors will share that because of the low pollen count in the dry climate we notice healthy attributes.  The elevation is approximately 3,336 ft and provides a great southwest climate.
